Dear Playa Vista Neighbors:
This year is quickly coming to a close, and I wanted to reach out to connect before the holidays. Playa Vista had a great year; we saw a variety of sales and many new price records were set.
Most recently, interest rates have increased. However, inventory is still quite low. I believe that, for this reason, our neighborhood’s prices have remained largely stable compared to some other pockets of LA.
The new LA County tax (Measure ULA) will not affect the majority of homes here in Playa Vista, as it only applies to properties sold over $5M. Should you have any questions, I’d be happy to share more info.
Moving forward to 2023, I am hopeful we’ll see a little more inventory come available. Despite the rate hikes, I know many buyers are still looking for product to buy which should present homeowners with a nice opportunity to sell.
Finally, I have several listings coming in early 2023. More details to follow, but I’d like to share one of them now. I have a wonderful top-floor, split-level condo coming soon in the Catalina building. This is a 2 bed, 2 bath layout with approx. 1,232 sqft and nice views of Concert Park.
