The Metro

Overview

The Metro building in Playa Vista is the first building constructed in the community, and was built in 2003. This 121-unit condo building offers a classic 1930’s and 1940’s Art-Deco style architecture, with a beautiful and well landscaped main entrance.

Condos at the Metro building range primarily in size from approx. 1,230 to 2,617 square feet, although there are some larger units. Most are traditional 2-3 bedrooms with 2.5 bathrooms.

Some of the layouts are single-level, while others have a two-story living room and bedrooms upstairs. Large master suites and standard and private decks make it easy to enjoy the ocean breeze!

The front-facing units enjoy fantastic views of Crescent Park and the green grass, sidewalks and fountains this park is known for. The West facing units enjoy arguably the best views in Playa Vista, and some of the best in Los Angeles! These views include those of Marina del Rey, the Playa del Rey Bluff, Ballona Wetlands, Ocean, and most incredible Sunsets!

The Metro building is such a great option for many because of its location on the cul-de-sac loop in the Crescent Park District, meaning there’s hardly through-traffic other than fellow neighbors.

The common areas at the Metro include a clubhouse, conference room, gym, pool and spa, elevators, and controlled-access entry.

All Playa Vista residents enjoy access to the local Beach Shuttle, and the proximity to LAX, Marina del Rey, etc.

The highly rated Playa Vista Elementary School is also located within Playa Vista, although admission to the school should be verified before buying or leasing in the community.
